DMCA Copyright Policy

SpotterHub.net respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects its users to do the same. In accordance with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act of 1998 (DMCA), we will respond promptly to claims of copyright infringement that are reported to our designated agent.

1. Designated Agent

All DMCA notices must be submitted to our designated copyright agent:

2. How to Submit a Takedown Notice

To file a valid DMCA notice, you must provide the following information in writing:

  1. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or a person authorized to act on their behalf.
  2. Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
  3. The URL or specific location on SpotterHub.net where the allegedly infringing material is located.
  4. Your contact information: name, address, telephone number, and email address.
  5. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  6. A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information provided is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

3. What Happens After You Submit

Upon receiving a valid DMCA notice, we will:

  • Review the claim within 5–10 business days
  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content if the notice is valid
  • Notify the user who uploaded the content
  • Document the action taken

4. Counter-Notification

If you believe your content was removed in error, you may submit a counter-notification to info@spotterhub.net. A valid counter-notification must include:

  1. Your physical or electronic signature.
  2. Identification of the content that was removed and its previous location on SpotterHub.net.
  3. A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the content was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
  4. Your name, address, and telephone number.
  5. A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located.

Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, the removed content may be reinstated.

5. Repeat Infringers

SpotterHub.net maintains a policy of terminating accounts of users who are found to be repeat infringers of copyright.
